It all began with a part-time job. As an on-site venue manager at Stonehouse Villa, a stunning venue in the Texas Hill Country, I had the privilege of witnessing countless weddings. Time and time again, I watched couples rely on their wedding party to capture snippets of their big day on iPhones, hoping to relive those moments instantly. It was during one of these shifts that inspiration struck: what if this responsibility didn’t have to fall on friends or family? What if a professional could take on this role with an artistic eye and a focus on storytelling? And just like that, the idea for Content by Clarice was born.

Working at Stonehouse Villa introduced me to the vibrant world of weddings and deepened my passion for helping couples celebrate their most important day. It also opened my eyes to a gap in the industry that no one seemed to be addressing. I couldn’t stop thinking about how transformative it would be to offer a service dedicated to capturing authentic, real-time moments of a wedding day.
One day, after a particularly inspiring shift, I raced home and began researching. I searched keywords like “social media for weddings,” “wedding social media manager,” and “iPhone photography/videography for weddings.” To my surprise, there was nothing like this in my area. That’s when I knew I had to bring this idea to life.
To start, I joined local wedding Facebook groups and offered my services for free in exchange for feedback. Within six months, I had booked seven weddings. Each event was a learning experience that helped me refine my process. My first wedding was a whirlwind of challenges: Was I there to capture behind-the-scenes moments or to complement the photographer and videographer? How could I ensure I had enough storage and battery life for a full day? How should I interact with vendors? And how could I deliver hundreds of high-quality files within 24 hours?
Despite feeling overwhelmed, I saw every challenge as an opportunity to improve. By the time I reached my second wedding, I was better prepared, and the experience was exponentially smoother. When I finally began charging for my services, I had developed a streamlined process and the confidence to provide couples with an unforgettable experience.

Since then, I’ve created content for over 80 weddings, each one teaching me something new. In March 2023, I officially launched Content by Clarice, LLC, becoming Austin’s first Wedding Content Creator. The demand for my services grew rapidly, and I hated turning couples away because I was booked. That’s when I decided to expand.
I brought on two incredible associates, Elijah and Mollie. Elijah, a childhood best friend of mine who played a pivotal role in the early days of Content by Clarice, and Mollie, whose creativity and passion have been a perfect addition to the team. Together, they’ve helped elevate the brand, bringing fresh ideas and energy to every wedding we capture. As a team we’ve created content for over 150 events to date.

Through innovation and a deep understanding of modern couples’ needs, I turned a simple idea into a thriving business. It’s an honor to give couples the gift of reliving their special moments instantly, ensuring their wedding memories are as vivid and joyful as the day itself.
